I was thrilled when the cover of The Last Midwife got picked last month to be featured in the Reedsy Book Cover Art Gallery. When my awesome cover artist, Roderick Brydon, came up with the idea for the magenta flame on the stark black background, I knew it was perfect for my book. The stunning cover has played a big part in the novel's success, with so many people commenting on its eye-catching design. I absolutely love it, and I'm so grateful to Roderick for all his hard work.

Roderick is busy right now with designs for the new Special Collector's Edition, which will be coming out well in time for Christmas. I'm certainly planning to treat myself to a copy.
