A little bit about me
I live in Billericay, Essex, UK with my husband and (currently) the youngest four of my seven children. I work part time as a Yoga teacher and Reflexologist.
When I’m not teaching or writing, I love walking, swimming in the sea and lakes, chilling out at my beach hut and going on camping trips. In previous professional incarnations I have been a Tax Inspector, Cookery demonstrator, Baby Signing teacher, Midwife and Health Visitor. Many years ago I completed a PhD degree in Victorian English Literature.
My youngest daughter has Down Syndrome. She is one of my greatest inspirations, always pointing me to the joy in unexpected places.
Some of my Bucket List ambitions
- Complete the full Camino de Santiago pilgrimage from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela.
- Publish a novel every year for the next ?? years
- Live in a house by the sea
- Swim across the Corryvreckan whirlpool in Scotland
- Go on an icon painting retreat
